Sewing Volunteers Wanted to Help Cover our Community

Living & Learning Pakenham is partnering with Jordan Crugnale MP, state member for Bass, and Pakenham Opportunity Shop to provide masks for the people of Pakenham and surrounding communities who are unable to source or make one.

We are seeking sewing volunteers who can help us sew 1,000 masks that will be donated to local charities.

We are seeking generous local people who can give up a few hours to help quickly sew the masks so that our community is safely following the new rules on face coverings? Even if you can't sew, we would love to hear from you, as we will be offering no-cost sewing workshops.

Masks created by this project will be in accordance with recommended patterns provided by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

Patterns and instructions are also available in a number of different languages.

Please use the form below to let us know if you can help!
