Sewing Volunteers Wanted to Help Cover our Community

We are excited to announce that thanks to our hardworking volunteers, the project has now met its goal of 1,000 masks. Thank you to our volunteers, supporters and everyone else who helped make our mask sewing project a huge success.

How the Community Face Mask Project Works

  1. Register as a sewist. Complete the form further down this page.
  2. Join our Facebook group for sewing support.
  3. Pick up your supplies from one of our collection points. See Quick Links for details.
  4. Download one of the patterns from the Quick Links section, or use one from your supplies pack.
  5. Watch this quick "how to" video if required.
  6. Cut out the pattern using materials as per the instructions.
  7. Sew some masks, with love, using our requested pattern.
  8. Drop your creations off at one of our collection points or order a special pick up via email at admin@livinglearning.org.au
  9. We will have them washed and packaged and we will distribute your works of art to those in need.
  10. Re-order more supplies using our online form (see Quick Links) and make more masks...
